Hello slojure
Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities. Please share with us the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) results:
- Download the Intel SSU https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows-
- Open the application and select "Everything" click on "Scan" to see the system and device information. By default, Intel® SSU will take you to the "Summary View".
- Click on the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
- To save your scan, click on "Next", then "Save".

After checking the information provided we noticed that you're not running the latest BIOS version. Please contact the system manufacturer for BIOS and firmware updates. Let us know if the issue persists after the updates.

Asus laptop means Asus bios. That is where you go for your bios.

For help with the ASUS bios, contact ASUS. There is no help provided here for their bios.

Hello Community
I've a similar problem on an Asus UX305 - Device Manager showing an error for the Intel Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework driver:
Driver Management has concluded the process to add Service DptfManager for Device Instance ID ACPI\INT3400\2&DABA3FF&1 with the following status: 0.
This error appears to date to some automatic update being applied in March 2023 (I think!).
The driver installed dates from 2015 and is version 604.10146.2651.1559.
Details from the Support Sys Utility Attached.
Any suggestions on where to obtain an updated driver would be much appreciated!

Dear Intel Support Team,
I have finally upgraded my ASUS UX550VD to Windows 11. There are some chips on the motherboard of the notebook that Windows 11 did not recognise:
- Intel(R) Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Processor Participant drivers / ASUSTeK UX550VD
VEN_8086&DEV_1903&SUBSYS_19701043&REV_05 - Intel(R) 100 Series/C230 Series Chipset Family PMC - A121 drivers / ASUSTeK UX550VD
VEN8086&DEV_A121&SUBSYS_19701043&REV_31 - Intel(R) Management Engine Interface Driver for ASUSTeK - UX550VD
VEN_8086&DEV_A13A&SUBSYS_19701043&REV_31 - Intel(R) Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Generic Participant
VEN_INT&DEV_3403
Attached you find the results of my scan with SSU Scan.
ASUS has not published any drivers for Windows 11 for these hardware components.
Is there any way to get Windows 11 drivers for these components via Intel?
Thanks for a short answer in advance.
Salut,
Mathias

Hello AlHill,
thanks for your reply.
I am aware that this is a rather "aged" notebook. But it does what I need off it and so I thought I better ask here.
The notebook is working and I can watch the heat (e.g. use fan on stand) and the battery load myself.
In case someone else has found a solution, please let me know.
Salut,
Mathias

Did you perform an upgrade from W10, or a fresh install?
If you did an upgrade, you should not have these problems.

Hello AlHill,
it was a fresh install since I also wanted to re-arrange the partitions and use the drive more effectively.
I was really hoping Windows 11 would detect the hardware in the notebook better than it did.
I do still have the drivers for Windows 10 that came with the notebook in 2018. But they are of no use.

Mathias

There is your problem.
You need to go to the asustek site and download their software (chipset, ME, etc) for windows 10 to correct those issues.
