HI Team,

We would like to know the difference between the below processors.

FH8065301989700 S R3V3

FH8065301989701 S R3V4

Could anyone help to provide the difference between the 2 processors as they belong to the same E3805?

Are both the processors are Active?

Hello,  @Thomas_07:

Thank you for contacting Intel Embedded Community.

The mentioned part numbers are related to the Intel Atom® Processor E3805, which is a Bay Trail processor, as you may confirm on the following website:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/84311/intel-atom-processor-e3805-1m-cache-1-33-ghz/ordering.html

We need to clarify that the Bay Trail processors have been discontinued and are no longer supported, as you may verify on the following website:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000022396/processors.html

Due to this, this family of processors is not suggested for new designs.

Also, you may find the available documentation for the Bay Trail processors on the following website:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/platforms/details/bay-trail/docs.html

However, the information that may help you is stated in the Change Title on page 1, and on the first row of the Table Products Affected / Intel Ordering Codes on page 2 of the Product Change Notification (PCN) 116009-01 for the suffix SR3V3. Also, in the Change Title on page 1, and on the last row of the Table Products Affected / Intel Ordering Codes on page 2 of the PCN 116196-01 for the suffix SR3V4.

These PCNs can be found in the following websites respectively:

https://cdrdv2.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/804353

https://cdrdv2.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/799112

Best regards,

@CarlosAM_INTEL.
