Help with Intel Extreme Tuning Utility

Hello, i have a laptop with an i5-12500h CPU. I made 2 custom profiles, one with a TDP of 10-15w and another with 25-35w. I switch between them depending if im on battery or on AC. I saw the profile pairing option where i can pick a profile for AC and battery power. I went  to create it but i cant click pair or apply shown below.

When i click save it creates a new profile, and when i click the show values it just says this:

I cant click apply, so i guess i did something wrong. Can someone guide me on what to do?

TLDR i wanna make it so it automatically switches to the 25-35w profile i created when the laptop is on AC power, and when i disconnect the charger it should switch to the 10-15w profile. Is that even possible?

Hi Drekavac,

Thank you for posting on Intel Community Forum.

Based on your initial post, you have i5-12500H CPU. Please be advised that Intel Extreme Tuning Utility is only supported with unlocked processors (K- and X-series). While some versions of Intel Extreme Tuning Utility can be installed on laptops or systems, these versions will not function for overclocking purposes.

When the tool is installed on a laptop with an unsupported processor, the user can only view system information parameters such as processor details, motherboard information, and BIOS information.

For reference: Unable to Overclock CPU with Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU) Installed on Laptop

Should you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

Sorry, didnt get any notifications on my email until now. When i use the app i get the ability to modify the TDP and to change some stuff. It worked but i never figured out how to make it switch from profiles automatically when the laptop is on battery power or charger
