How do I know if I have an Engineering Sample cpu?

I just bought a used CPU off Ebay and I want to know how I can distinguish between a sample and the real released product.

 

If it turns out that it is and engineering sample, or that any of my other cpus are what do I do?

Doesnt look like an ES to me. Maybe 2011-v3 is different from 2011 processors.

It has a serial unmber on it, i dont see ES anywhere on it, might be legit. Though that etching on the lettering is very faded, could you post a better picture?

What about a CPU-Z screenshot, maybe try installing it real quick & see what it does
