Good day to all!
I noticed that my laptop HP Pavilion-dv6-2120er (http://novatek.com.ua/product/hp-pavilion-dv6-2120er-wh706ea/ http://novatek.com.ua/product/hp-pavilion-dv6-2120er-wh706ea/), runs slower than
must. In this very hot CPU (90 + degrees).
The laptop is Intel Core i5 CPU M 430, intel (http://ark.intel.com/products/43537 http://ark.intel.com/products/43537) says that I have 2 real processors that operate in 4 threads.
Once verified CUP-Z
and Speccy
I see only 1 core is running in 2 threads. How do I enable the second core? How to make them work in 4 threads?
The configuration of the notebook:

In an Intel MB you can set the number of active cores in the bios. Since it is an HP system see if you have such an option in the bios. If not contact HP's tech support. Once set the usage of the cores is suppose to be automatic.

Hello Dalian,
You right, the Intel® Core&# 153; i5-430M mobile Processor is a dual core with 4 threads. The laptop BIOS should have an option to enable the 2 cores on the CPU, if you have further question you may need to contact with the system manufacturer in this case Hewlett-Packard*.
