Hi FilipRobinson,
Thank you for posting in the Intel® Communities Support.
For us to exhaust possible troubleshooting for your processor, please consider the steps below:
First, download and install Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU) and run AVX2 test, check if AVX2 test failure is seen.
Method A
- Inside BIOS, select "ADVANCED MODE",
- Select Tweaker tab, locate the CPU Vcore
- Select "Normal" option
- Select "Dynamic Vcore(DVID)" option
- Change it from "Auto" to "+0.005V"
- Increase the DVID by +0.005
- Save settings and reboot OS, until the apps/games crash disappears and the system is running stable. If issue persists, proceed to Method B
Method B
- In BIOS, select "Tweaker",
- Select "Advanced Voltage Settings"
- Select "CPU/VRAM Settings"
- Adjust "CPU Vcore Loadline Calibration"
- Recommending starting from "Low" to "Medium" until system is stable.
After implementing A or B, run XTU test again and if the AVX2 test can pass and run apps or games and see if the issue happens again.
Let us know of the results before we can proceed to our next step.
Best regards,
Jay B.

Hi JayB
Thank you for the answer and advice.
Default BIOS setting AVX2 test 5 min and passed max temp 87C.
Method A
+0.005V AVX2 5min passed max. temp. 92C I can run games that caused the drive to restart before.
When I tried the benchmark I had a BSOD with error code Page_fault_in_nonpaged_area and the computer froze,
I had to restart.
Method B Low setting
AVX2 5min passed. I can run games.
I tried the benchmark again and it didnt fail, the system seems to work stably.
Should I still try the medium setting for method B also?
Thank you for your time

Hi FilipRobinson,,
Thank you for the update. We are glad that it was able to address your concern. Although, we do recommend to keep your BIOS settings as it is since it running at a more stable state after changing the CPU Vcore Loadline Calibration to "Low".
At this rate, kindly observe the progress and don't hesitate to us know if the issue persists so that we can proceed to our next step.
Best regards,
Jay B.

Good day,
today the same problem happened again, when starting the game (Lies of P) from the MS store, when loading
the shaders, the computer restarted itself. May it be windows problem, or is it some cpu issue??
I still got warranty for cpu, shoud i try to claim it ?
Thank you for your time.

Hello FilipRobinson,
Thank you for the update.
Is there a chance that you can try a different processor or you can try your processor on a different motherboard?
By doing this, we are isolating the issue to know which unit is causing the problem or which unit is faulty.
If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Hi,
sorry for being late, i got lot of work last days.
I´m trying reach some friend with same socket for test the CPU, but it seems nobody can help me.
Some laughed at me and said that I would rather buy AMD
I try clean windows 10 installation and problems with benchmarking are gone (default BIOS setting).
PC is still crashing (same way as before) while i try run games (Lies of P, Evil West, Lightyear frontier) from ms store, sometimes i got BSOD but it also crash while loading the issue. I think they all run on the unreal engine, but not sure.
Today i will try some games from another platforms.

Hello FilipRobinson,
Thank you for the update.
You can also try to go back to your reseller to seek assistance with the swap test.
If the processor is faulty after the swap test, you may contact your local Warranty Support team and report your processor for replacement. Here is the link:
