Intel Power Gadget: Very high values for CPU utilization

Hi,

I am trying to use the Intel Power Gadget's APIs to monitor my CPU through Python code.

I see that some of the values reported for  CPU utilization are very high (sometimes >1000%) for a 2-core CPU with hyperthreading.

Please help! TIA.

The system specs are as follows:

Also, my code snippet for capturing the CPU utilization with Power Gadget API is as given below:

Does it look like that from your point of view? It's listed as a power package. I'm not sure where you are getting the python information. I honestly just got tired of tracking utilities for computers here. There's too many problem zones. I can assume you also found the container at Hub.

The link from developer at Intel.

I feel like this forum post is going to and up in the project Lincoln page.

Seriously where are you getting the python code information?

You're right however. I just noticed that on the i7-6770HQ core. I wanted to try this program. I mean I have 2 Intel computers. This one does the same thing with my CPU utilization it's buggy hovering around -3,000,000 most of the time.
