Hello all,
I was using Intel motherboard with i3-3220 (8 gb ram). After it became faulty, I have replaced the motherboard with Gigabyte H-61 ms . While reinstalling ubuntu, it stopped with following error:
"this kernel requires following features on cpu "
"fpu msr pae fxsr sse sse2"
while installing 32 bit version of ubuntu, same error was repeated but with pae &fpu.
For windows installation, it showed that cpu doesn't support pae.
what seems to be the problem here? whether processor also became faulty ?
Is there any way to recover the processor.
Any help would be apperciated.
