TJUNCTION FOR THIS PROCESSOR IS 105C

Also they will shut down if they get too hot, then when you boot up it will give an error message to check your thermals.

I am also interested in this question. I have a i7-3630QM processor (TJunction 105°C) in a Toshiba laptop, and its temperature is usually at mid-60s°C, but runs up to 80°C while gaming. Is this normal? Would it produce misfunctioning in the longer term?

Hello Sanwanblo, I'm more than glad to assist you and to answer your inquiry. The temperature you are getting from the processor is totally expected.

The temperature should be under 80°C during idle or low workload, but if you are playing and the use of the processor is almost 100%, the temperature will be between 90°C and 100°C.

The temperature is not critical, but if you want, you can add or change the thermal paste on the processor.

If you still want to check the processor, you can download the "Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool 64 or 32 bit" and check the results
