New i9 14900f some of the pins fried, after installing it for an upgrade.

After I installed my new i9 14900F, I noticed that nothing was working including the Bios.  I tried a few times, but nothing.  When I pulled the CPU out, I found this, and it also messed up the mother board.  I was miffed because I dropped about $500, and now I'm stuck having to shell out more money.  Is there a way of possible getting this replaced?  Thanks for your time.IMG_20250114_180025_139.jpg.

Hi Bucky_Boy,

I want to know more details and check what I can do on my end. Could you answer some of my questions below.

  • How old is the processor?
  • Where did you purchase it?
  • Did you inspect the unit before installing it?

For warranty options related to this type of concern, please refer to the information provided below.

I actually took a photo before I installed it comparing it to an old intel 486DX to show how much things have change.

Also thanks for responding.
