P8700 question

My Dell has a T7200 processor 478 socket. Just bought a P8700 processor for it, also a 478 socket but the corner configuration is different. Do i have any options to make it fit/work?

Please contact the system manufacturer, in this case DELL*, so they can tell you if the system is compatible with the P8700.

If the processor is not supported by the system, or it just does not fit on the socket, it means it is not designed to be installed on that particular system.
