Pentium I7 940, X58 pro-e, 850w antec signiture series HELP

ive recently purchased an I7 940 and a X58 pro-e with an antec 850w signiture series power supply, i have been building computers for a while now but am a bit confused to whether the cpu uses a p3 connector or a p2 on this particular motherboard, any suggestions or ideas would appreciated, thankyou

Hi,

I am not sure what the P3 connector or P2 is, i am assuming they are the proper names for the 4 pin or 8 pin for th eCPU? If so then use the 8 pin.
