Question about which heatsink would work for me

Ok, so I have a new I5-2500K Sandy Bridge CPU. This is what I have put together.

Rosewill REDBONE Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Case

Asus P8H61-M LE/CSM (Rev. 3) Micro ATX Motherboard

Crucial Ballistix DDR3 1333 1.5v (2x 4GB)

Gigabyte GTX550 Ti Video Card

Along with the i5-2500K CPU

I'm just curious, with everything put together, what kind of Aftermarket Heatsink can I use that will fit?

I don't have tall ram.

I'm confused about how the dimensions work on a heatsink. IE which way L is compared to W.

Any suggestions?

Hi - I could not find the maximum height of a CPU cooler for your case on the Rosewill site so I would suggest you put your system together with the Intel boxed cooler. After you get it up and running determine the height of the cooler your system will accept. Most after market cooler manufacturers advertise the height of their products so it will be easy to find one that fits. You might find that the boxed cooler is sufficient. Regards. Peter

a nother side note, u get a 2500k (unlocked processor) and a h61 mainboard wich cant do anything with that cpu beside runn the speeds it was made for.

bit off a waste imho eighter get a normal 2500 or get a other mainboard with a dif chipset, z68 or even the p67 would do
