1. I just installed 6.0.2.2 on two machines, in both cases Norton reported a virus in one of the files.

2. I put XTU in the Startup folder, but it doesn't start with the computer

3. Run Benchmark, reports Error Log, The benchmarking process has failed and no score was generated as a result

4. Monitoring only shows CPU Utilization and Memory Utilization

I tried reinstalling without Norton active, but the same problems.

I have the latest version of Norton Security installed.

Hi,

The Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU) version 6.0.2.2 works with extreme processors only. I recommend you to uninstall and delete the current version from your computer and install it again using the file from the link below.

XTU-Setup-exe.exe

If you are running Microsoft® Windows 7, please follow the steps below.

In regards the virus issue, you can try with McAfee trial version.

The download link takes me to 6.0.2.2, it sounds like I need to use version 5. Is there anyway to download that?

I have tried reinstalling using the file at the link provided and it always does the same thing.

At this point the version 6.0.2.2 is the only one we have available to download.

As previously mentioned by Mike, the Intel XTU will work correctly with unlocked processors so I would like to know what the processor model you have is?
