laptop overheating. .. I have just ran an IDPT check and it FAILED "Base Clock Test" .. "detected base clock 999999999 ..... also FAILED .. "CPU Frequency Test" ... My question is .. can I fix the problems or do I have to fit a new CPU .....

My laptop is overheating. I have installed a new fan and replaced the thermal paste .. still overheating !! ..
