overheating issues

I recently upgraded my computer with an Intel processor, and I'm encountering occasional overheating issues even with proper cooling solutions. Can someone provide guidance on optimizing temperature management for Intel CPUs, including recommended thermal paste application methods and BIOS settings, to ensure optimal performance and prevent overheating?

What processor did you replace, and what is the new processor?  Provide model numbers.

What is the motherboard model number?

What OS and build?

Did you check if the new processor is supported by the motherboard bios?

Did you update the bios?

Did you check to see if your processor cooling solution was adequate and properly installed?

 

Lots of questions to answer before you go down the path of optimizing temperatures.
