EPM7256ATC100-7 Quartus support

Hi,

What is the latest version of Quartus that could be used to program the EPM7256ATC100-7?

Obsolete Device on board needing to be programmed: EPM7256ATC100-7

A parallel port was installed on the new PC, the device drivers and the ByteBlaster MV drivers were installed, but Quartus v7.2 could not program it because the device was too old (obsolete), but the lpt1 (Parallel Port) was recognized and the device chain was recognized.

We then tried the Parallel Port with Max+Plus II v10.23 and we received "Program Hardware Not Setup" message...The Parallel Port is recognized/listed in the pull downs within Max+Plus II v10.23, but Max+Plus II v10.23 does not recognize the device chain. I then tried -re-installing the drivers, to no avail, then tried to use the bblpt.exe to install the drivers (per an Altera documentation suggestion) and now in both Quartus v7.2 and Max+Plus II v10.23, the cable listed in the pull-down is the ByteBlaster II, and no longer the Byte Blaster MV.

I need this help urgent,

Thanks for the help in advance.

Best regards
