Can you please support and provide the details/documents for below queries:

Currently we are using cyclone 10 GX part number is 10CX085YU484E6G, for this we have installed Intel® Quartus® Prime Software application and connected with FPGA JTAG programmer E_14003019(Usb Blaster Cable Cpld Fpga Jtag Programmer Altera).

My question is when we connect the FPGA JTAG programmer i am not able to see/find device connected indication in the application.

Could you please confirm whether i am using proper application and FPGA JTAG programmer for cyclone 10 GX(10CX085YU484E6G).

Sorry for the delay. First of all, we would like to suggest you uninstall and reinstall the USB blaster driver. After that run the JTAG debugger.

Hope this can solve the issue.

Hello NazrulNaim_Intel/Intel team,

Please provide me the solution get resolve programming Cyclone 10 GX.

  • I am using Quartus prime version 21.4.0 and USB blaster(E_14003019) to program QSPI flash through Cyclone 10 GX.
  • I try to program a JIC file via Altera USB-Blaster. The error message "Can't configure device. Expected JTAG ID code 0x02EF20DD for device 1, but found JTAG ID code 0xFFFFFFFF. Make sure the location of the target device on the circuit board matches the device's location in the device chain in the Chain Description File (.cdf)." appears. Up to 56% .jic file is loading after that failed and above error is appears.
  • The SOF file is getting programmed well.
  • I generated the JIC-File with the Quartus tool "Converting Programming Files".
  • Attached error screenshot for reference.

Please provide me the solution for the above error as a priority.

Thanks in advance.
