1. System tray icon shows a warning exclamation mark.
2. Opening the IRST application, the Status tab - Current Status says "...system is reporting one or more events..." however nothing is listed in the right-hand Storage System View pane.
3. Clicking Help > System Report shows everything apparently normal (e.g. Disk Status Normal).
4. It's been happening for a few weeks with no apparent affect and it returns after reboot.
Any suggestions on further steps to determining why this warning is being generated?
I have searched, but unable to find this problem described anywhere.
Windows 10.0.19045
2x WD HDD RAID 1
Intel Rapid Storage Technology 16.5.1.1030
Thanks

Hello @T0mas
Thank you for posting on the Intel️® communities.
We understand you are getting an alert, let us help you with the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology Driver.
-Was it working properly before?
-Have you made any recent software or hardware change?
In order to have more information about your system, please download, install and run Intel® System Support Utility for Windows. Make sure you check “Everything” before you scan, then save the report and attach it to your response.

Thanks for your attention to this Jose.
I have attached the report file as requested.
In answer to your questions:
- Yes, I believe it was working before (for the several years since the computer was new). At least I never had the alert show up until recently.
- There have been no changes to hardware since the machine was new. No recent software additions or changes other than the periodic MS Windows updates.
I did notice that when the machine is started, for the first 20 seconds or so after the RST icon appears in the system tray, the message tag states that RST application has not started, then it shows the exclamation mark alert. Opening the application shows basically an empty window (screenshot attached).
Regards,
Tom

Hello T0mas
Thank you for your patience.
After checking the reports, we noticed that the chipset is no longer supported by our driver. Our main recommendation is to install the latest Intel® Rapid Storage Technology provided by the system manufacturer.
In case you have more related questions, please contact GIGABYTE. Please note that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel. Thank you for understanding
Best regards,
