Hello,

I've MSI Z490 Godlike motherboard and I was installing drivers from MSI's web site. But when I try to install Intel Rapid Storage, it asks me to switch AHCI to RAID mode and also say that computer will be restarted in safe mode for while to install it. I accept it, computer shut downs and fans start to work again but there is no view on the screen. Also writing DRAM Error on the led on the motherboard. I reset several times but no luck. Then if I reset CMOS with pressing the button on the motherboard, computer open in safe mode and immediately restart by itself to open normal Windows. But Rapid Storage isn't installed. I tried twice and everything were the same. Also I found that another people have this exact problem: https://community.intel.com/t5/Rapid-Storage-Technology/Tried-installing-Intel-Rapid-Storage-and-Optane-computer-won-t/td-p/1202477

In order to better assist you, please provide the following:

1. What is the RAID configuration that you tied to set?

2. Have you reported the issue with MSI?

3. Have you tried a clean installation of Windows after you changed to RAID?

4. Is possible, what is the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) version you tried to install?
