Hi there,
we have a config with Intel i9-13900K, Asus Z790 Board, 2 x WD_BLACK SN850X NVMe SSD 1 TB for Boot and 5 x 14TB SATA disks for data.
We used the Intel RST Tool under Windows 11 to do a migration:
from: RAID0 with 4 x 14 TB plus 1 x 14 TB as single drive
to: RAID 5 with 5 x 14 TB
The migration started just fine, the data was available in Windows. It seemed to be slow, took some hours to get from 0 to 1 %.
But during the night the computer crashed and restarted for a yet unknown reason.
Now, the migration still seems to be continuing at 1% BUT: all the the data seems to be gone.
To be exact, the migrating RAID is not shown in Windows disk manager at all.
This is horrible! Any idea what could be done to gain access to the data again?
Thanks a lot,
Christian Toller

Surely you didn't start such a dangerous operation without first making a backup of the data in this array, did you?
