Do I need to uninstall RST?

I am getting the message that RST is entering EOL and I should use the MAS tool instead. But it appears that RST somehow contains the driver for my SSD and so can't be uninstalled without removing the driver, which is concerning because that's my boot drive. Do I need to uninstall RST, and if so, how to do so safely?

It still amazes me how many people read this notification and interpret it incorrectly. I don't get it; it seems perfectly straightforward to me. Only the RST GUI is being EOLed, not all of RST. You still need the RST drivers to support the MAS tool (which takes over as the GUI). Bottom line, no, you don't need to uninstall RST.
