In my current desktop PC, I'm using Rapid Storage Technology to create a RAID1 with two SATA HDDs. I'm planning to replace the two SATA HDDs with two SATA SSDs. Is it possible to create a RAID1 with the SATA SSDs using Rapid Storage Technology?

1) Its unwise using SSD at OS partition.
2) I consider as more bullet proof, using BIOS RAID console, so to create a RAID array.
Unplug other drives, add only the two candidates, create RAID on them.
Plug all drives, boot normally with windows.
From there you will be able to adjust new RAID array details.
