Use one half of a raid 1 array?

Hi, i had 2 harddrives in raid 1 array, took out all harddrives to reinstall windows 7 and put 1 harddrive in, used it for 10 days no problem.

Today i changed a setting in w7 to use raid and now rst warns about a degraded array that 1 half of the array is missing, is this something i should bother with or just keep using the harddrive anyway since it works?

To attach a file, you must click "Use Advanced Editor" in the top right corner of the response box, then the "attach" option will appear in the bottom right corner of the response box.
