need RST Application Installation package

I installed the INTEL RST driver on my computer, but the management software was not automatically installed. I need the RST application to check the hard drive status.

WINDOWS OS V: W10 IOT ENTERPRISE LTSC 21H2  19044.6937

Computer Information: lenovo  P3  GEN2

CPU: Intel core(TM) ultra 7 265.

I found out through my research that the new version of the RST driver does not include management software and needs to be downloaded separately from the Microsoft Store. However, my operating system is W10 LTSC, which does not come with the Microsoft Store, and this computer cannot connect to the network, so I can only copy the RST app software and then install it.

So, where can I get the RST APP installation package that is compatible with my computer? Thank you.

For me to better understand and diagnose the issue further, let me ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help me isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.


  1. Do you have a RAID volume in your system?
  2. Who configured the RAID?
  3. May I know also why do you need the application?
  4. For me to review the hardware and the driver installed, please help generate the SSU logs of your system. Kindly refer to the link below for the steps:

  1. Do you have a RAID volume in your system?    Yes, I have two HDDs, configured at RAID 1 level
  2. Who configured the RAID?    I configure
  3. May I know also why do you need the application?   I want to use this software to monitor the status of my RAID and hard drives.
  4. For me to review the hardware and the driver installed, please help generate the SSU logs of your system. Kindly refer to the link below for the steps:      I am on a business trip and cannot collect it for the time being.

 

In previous versions, installing SETUPRST.EXE would automatically install the desktop management program, but I am not sure why it no longer installs automatically now.

Thank you for the update.


Since you are having issues with Intel generic driver, have you tried using the OEM driver?

Let me just explain that OEM manufacturer can modify controllers and most of the time, the recommended drivers are the OEM drivers that can enable the modifications that they have.
