how can i make a 3d face recognition

i saw that there is a 2d face recogntion in the sample code, but

i want to know ,is there a 3d face recogntion in the SDK /

if not ,what are the steps that i need to do  in order to achieve this and  what algorithm is used

Yes there is a 3D face recognition in the SDK. You can browse the code on the SDK samples.
In addition, you can also check another sample here. 
There is no information regarding algorithm that Intel use on the SDK.
