I have just downloaded the Intel C++ compiler for evaluation and run into installation problem -- on the screen where it asked for either accept or decline the license term, it seems it kept looping back to the prompt asking the user to either type "accept" or "decline", not matter whether I enter accept, "accept" or decline. Is this a bug or I forget to set some environment variable? Anyway to get past this and get it installed?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hi,
Which Linux OS Version are you using? Are you using IA32 Architecture machine? Which Intel C++ compiler for Linux* did you download? (the downloaded file name)
Did you provide a serial number or license file or choose to evaluate during install?
Can you cut and paste what you see on screen here?
Did you read through the full end user license agreement, as it is couple of pages ?
Do you see any files in the /opt/intel/licenses folder?
Thank You
Shamla

Redhat Enterprise 4 and installing intel 64 platform. The download name is l_cproc_p_11.1.064_intel64.tgz. and I'm installing as a non-root user.
A serial number is provided and I also got a evaluation license file through email.
I page through the license term all the way to the end.

Installation into /opt/intel has to be done as root on most systems.

But I'm installing as a non-root user and I'm not installing it at /opt/intel. And it's getting stuck at the license term agreement stage, not even at the stage of asking where to install the compiler. :-(
