What's the best way to add version info to a DLL project so it will be visible to users (when they right-click and select Properties in Explorer, for example)? I'm using X86 v6.5 (haven't updated to A, yet).
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Bill

From the Developer Studio menu bar - Insert..Resource... Select Version, click New. Edit the fields as desired.

I admit that there are lots of references under "version", but the info you're looking for is under "Version information..editing". The Version Information editor is a subtopic of the "Visual C++ User Manual for Visual Fortran", under Resource Editors.
Still, we get this asked a lot, so I'll add something about it to our web site. Not sure how we'd add it (elsewhere) to the documentation.
