Hi !!
First i would like apologize me for my bad english !!
I'm running a windows vista sp1 with Quadcore 6600 and 4gb of ram and everytime i try to start maya or max using the intel media accelerator driver it crashes. When i do an uninstallation of the intel driver the maya or max runs fine( i already tried at least 3 different versions of the driver ).
Is there anything that i can do or the video board isnt compatible with those software ??
Thanks in advance

There are multiple reports on Maya crashing with intel drivers:
http://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/showthread.php?t=61192
http://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/showthread.php?t=61262
That seems to be across platforms (XP, Vista) since the OpenGL driver code which Maya uses is most likely the same for all these.
The best thing you can do: Get in touch with Maya support to trace down the bug that causes the crash. Then they can decide how to best fix the bug: Either provide a walkaround or bugfix in Maya or get the intel driver straight. The second best thing you can do: Find the intel driver that works. Reply #2 in the first posting does contain the hint that "a year old driver works".
