Building your own Host system for Xeon Phi

Hello,

I have had multiple requests for building a host system for Xeon Phi cards model number 5110P.  I  have been unable to locate a site that has recommendations on motherboards and cases.

Does anyone know of a link to a site that has hardware discussions regarding the host system to run the Xeon Phi 5110P?

I have used a Westmere S5500 servers in the past that seems to work fine, but I am interested in other options especially regarding options for the chassis / case / rack mounting and cooling.

There are several posts that have come through about similar topics. Here are some:

http://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/topic/347051
http://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/topic/369163

I recommend you use your favorite search engine and search on something like, "site:software.intel.com xeon phi motherboard".

In the last part of your question, you ask about "chassis / case / rack mounting and cooling". Are you looking at designs for building a cluster?
