I am generating an access violation when calling CLEARSCREEN($GWINDOW) to clear a text window. This problem has just started appearing. I have used this call without problems in the past, and the same code that ran 6 months ago without any problems is now crashing at this line. It doesn't crash every time. Sometimes I can run through the same code many times before a crash occurs.
The code has not been modified. Could something on my system have changed that would make this stop working?

Hi, Sue..
One of the possibilities is a bad video driver, or you may have a memory module failing. If it were a software issue, it would tend to do the same thing every time you ran the program.
I'd suggest updating your video drivers - and would REALLY suggest upgrading to Windows XP - you say you're running Windows 95, and that's really buggy...
