Hi,
we use some Xeon 7130 based Servers at our institute. What are the L1, L2 and L3 Cache speeds of this processors? I couldn't find it in the spec.
Regards,
Soeren

Hello Soeren,
I'm moving this to our catchall forum, since we don't havea forumfor this subject.
You'll want to check the datasheet for this processor, which you can download at http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=27286&code=Intel%c2%ae+Xeon%c2%ae+Processor+7130N+(8M+Cache%2c+3.16+GHz%2c+667+MHz+FSB)

Hi Aubrey,
thanks for moving the post to the correct forum. Maybe I'll get an answer here.
The Processor is not 7130N but 7130M. The correct spec can be found here:http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=27285&processor=7130M&spec-codes=SL9HB
There is also an error in the spec. The processor has 2MB of Level 2 Cache, not 8MB. It has 8MB of Level 3 Cache.
In the meantime I found out that the Level 1 and the Level 2 Cache are operating at full processor speed. The only question I still have is, at which speed the Level 3 Cache is operating.
I also took a look at the processor datasheet (http://www.intel.com/Assets/en_US/PDF/datasheet/314553.pdf) and could not find it there.
Regards,
Soeren
