Can not find/download Intel License Manager Flex lm

Hi.

I'm not able to register our floating license, because we currently do not have a License Manager Flex lm installed. It seems to me, that I'm not able to get the "Intel License Manager Flex lm" without registering the product. Where can we download the Intel License Manager Flex lm?

We are not able to contact Premium support without registering, so we have a big problem.

Hi Guido,

You need to register your serial number first in order to gtet access to the product and license manager downloads. Well, it would be very suitable to have the license server data available during registration; the license manager provides a useful tool to get valid host ids, but you can obtain the server name and MAC address (=host id) also with system services (e.g. ipconfig /all on Windows, ifconfig / hostname on Linux) to complete the registration and then set up the license manager with the license file you will receive after registration.

Hi.

Our company (normally) only has virtual servers. Our global IT stated out that the license server will need a physical server. So I had to find or build up a physical server. After I got access to an in-house physical server, the installation went well. The whole procedure had more than 10 iteration steps at our company and it was a hard call to get it managed.
