Cannot build - Keeps opening the same tab - Construct 2 based

Hello XDK forums. I have been using intelXDK for a while now and exported my first game into android in the past, which I had made with Construct 2. Now I wanted to make an update and also try exporting to iOs, but after loading the new version, I am having problems exporting to any platform.

I do everything as before, I add admob plugin from the web, I select my icons and do all my settings for android-crosswalk, and from the build tab I upload my files. All is well...But after the upload, a new page comes, it looks like a in-program browser and it's showing me my intel web developer console. Here, I choose my project, unfold "build as a mobile app" and here are the first problems. It does not recognize my selected icons and instead shows a black box, also notifications for android or crosswalk builds state default icon will be used. I am pretty sure I have the icons in my folder and I had selected them in project setiings.

But major problem is, when I select android or crosswalk export, a new, smaller pop-up window opens, which shows the same  build-page tab, i.e. I can see all my projects again, and I can select any one of them and choose any platform to build, in which case just a smaller pop-up window opens. And, it has the same page, i.e I can see all my projects. So basically, I cannot build to any platform.

I am using windows 8 64 bit english. The project itself was made with construct 2. The version in google play store (100CUBES) was prepared with intelXDK, so I believe the problem is with this patch.

Thanks, and regards;

Wind.

Can you post some screenshots of the issues you are having with build tab?

Thanks,

Swati

Of course. Notice I downgraded to previous build but seems it has the same setup and I'm encountering same problem. Below are the screenshots with explanations.

Hello,

Looks like your XDK has gone in some weird state. This is the weirdest thing I've seen. You should never see the pop up window that you showed in the screenshot. That's the App Center interface. When you build the app you should see "Overview" page with "Build App Now" button.

I suggest you do this:

Looks like you are on Windows.

1. Go to Control Panel > uninstall program > select XDK

2. When you uninstall it will prompt you : select "Remove", in the next prompt check the box "Remove list of project ...." and uninstall it completely.

3. Check if you have this directory, if you do then remove it:

username/AppData/Local/XDK

4. Goto xdk.intel.com and re-install XDK.

Hope this will fix the issue, let me know if it still does not work.

Swati
