Compaq Visual Fortran 6.6 needed - what are the licensing issues?

I have an old project that my company worked on back in 2000. It was compiled in Compaq Visual Fortran 6.6. We have multiple current licenses for the latest version of the Intel compiler, but we would have to do a lot of code changes to recompile the project.
What are the licensing issues here since the Compaq VF is not Intel VF?
Is there any way I can use the old version that is legal? We refuse to use unlicensed software.

Hello,

Your license for Intel Visual Fortran does not cover Compaq Visual Fortran. If you need a license for Compaq Visual Fortran, I would suggest contacting HP. You may also be able to buy it from a reseller. If you decide to migrate the program to Intel Visual Fortran, I would suggest checking out this article on Migrating from Compaq* Visual Fortran.
