Hi to everyone,
I would like to know if there will be in the near future some new release of Crosswalk supported. There is also a new "lite" branch which provides smaller APKs (half of the size) https://crosswalk-project.org/blog/crosswalk-lite-10.html.
With crosswalk 10 I noticed some regressions (slower performances than 7). In addition, I can't debug anymore the app using Chrome. You can have a look at this at : https://crosswalk-project.org/jira/browse/XWALK-3522.
Kind regards.

p.s. The "lite" version is an experiment, there is no guarantee, at this time, that it will be available for production work. However, there is a shared-library version that should eventually appear for use with production code, that would only require one download of the Crosswalk engine and your app would be much smaller.
p.p.s. I just built an Android app using Crosswalk 12 and "debuggable" set to "true" in the additions.xml file and I'm able to open up a remote Chrome session to the built app. One thing that can get in the way of things working properly is an older version of Chrome on your desktop than what is running inside of the Crosswalk engine. In my case the Crosswalk runtime is based on Chrome 41 and my desktop Chrome is version 42. If my desktop Chrome was 40 the remote debug might fail, I ran into this some time back. For some reason Google had updated the mobile webview before they had updated the desktop, and I could not make a remote connection, unless I installed a newer canary version of Chrome. :(

If you want to build your own Crosswalk images you can build their canary and beta versions. The Intel XDK build system requires much more work than just installing a new build system, so we are not able to support access to all Crosswalk versions, especially the canary and beta versions.
