Custom Splash screen does not appear

Hi,

I want to have my own splash screen image instead of "Intel XDK" splash screen, so I tried to upload image as splash screen from intel XDK IDE.After i build and run in intel XDK Emualtor it's still showing "Intel XDK" splash screen and when i build  installer (APK) it does not display any splash screen in my android phone.   is there any wrong step that I did..?

Splash screens will not show up in the Emulate, Test or Debug tabs, only in built apps that you run on your phone. Please see this doc for more info: https://software.intel.com/en-us/xdk/docs/cordova-for-android-build-options -- make sure your splash screen image has appropriate dimensions and is using the proper format.
