Intel Pentium D 3.0Ghz Dual Core desktop system will crash to blue screen and on attempted restart, receive the following screen message:



Intel 82945G Chipset Family PCI Accelerated SVGA BIOS

Build Number: 1374 PC 4:12 08/28/2006 16:30:16

DECOMPILATION OR DISASSEMBLY PROHIBITED

Copyright (C) 2000-2003 Intel Corp. All Rights Reserved.



Please advise if there is some type of work-around. Will installing a separate video card resolve the issue? Many thanks!

The message indicates that your factory locked settings have been altered. Either you performed an incorrect BIOS update or messed up an overclocking procedure. In any case, try to find factory locked clock speed and FSB, set your computer to that and see if it works. Otherwise replace your motherboard.
