I read many posts here and I think you should be the best person to ask for advices.
I have been fascinated by IPP for a long time. It is enjoyable for using such a fabulous thing. It would be even better if I know how it can achieve such high performance. I think the "Software optimization cookbook" is helpful. Besides, would you like to recommend some other books or resouces available on internet? You must be authority for this field.

Dear Mallika,

A vast amount of literature exists on computer architecture, libraries (such as IPP), performance analyzer (such as Vtune), compilers and optimization, so please allow me to restrict my answer to some Intel specific sources only.

The ultimate Intel resource for manuals, product briefs, data sheets, application notes, specification updates and other technical documentation (formerly known as, respectively, the Intel literature center and the Intel technical documentation center) is the Intel products site:
http://www.intel.com/products/index.htm

Books related to Intel products and programming and computer system design are published through Intel press:
http://www.intel.com/intelpress/

The Intel Technology Journal features articles on Intels recent research and development:
http://intel.com/technology/itj/

Finally, the technology@Intel magazine features articles on Intel technology and innovations:
http://www.intel.com/technology/magazine/

I hope this provides you enough material for further reading!

Sincerely,

Aart Bik
