Hi,
can somebody give me links to latest debugging documentation from Intel? On youtube I only find videos from 2012, and on written docu lot's of text deals about using idb. But on Supercomputing Conference (ISC) I was told, that idb became deprecated and that one should use the gdb instead. But how? And is there also an integration to eclipse?
Thanks
Michael

IDB is depreciated in our upcoming Intel® Composer XE 2013 SP1 release (due out early Fall 2013). IDB will still be included in that release along with GDB*. A version of the new GDB* is also available prior to the CXE 2013 SP1 release, refer to section 10.5 in the readme-en.txt for Intel MPSS.
For the current CXE 2013 release, refer to Using Intel® C++ Compiler with the Eclipse* IDE on Linux* and Intel® C++ Compiler XE 13.0 User and Reference Guides.
For information specific to debugging for Intel Xeon Phi™ using IDB under Eclipse, refer to Debugging under the Programming and Training (under Advanced workshops) tabs on the Intel® Xeon Phi™ Coprocessor Developer website.
