Difference between Grove Starter Kits Gen 1 and 2

Hi all,

I would like to use the sensors from a Grove Starter Kit with the Edison board (Arduino expansion). Does it matter which kit I buy? Can both of them work equally well with Edison or should I prefer Gen 2?

Both will work - only difference are the cables that are included with the Grove Starter kits - Gen1 have different USB "console" cables than the Gen2 - you don't need these for Edison.
