I would like to buy Intel Parallel Studio XE Fortran and C++. the question is do I need Visual Studio for the GUI or is Intel Parallel Studio XE Fortran and C++ self contained with its own GUI?
In the past with intel fortran compiles there has always been lots of issues of which versions of Visual Studio will support wich fortran versions??
What do I need for the GUI?
thanks,

Intel Parallel Studio XE contains it's own GUI for Intel VTune Amplifier XE and Intel Inspector XE. So it can be used without Visual Studio.
But there is no GUI for compiler andsource editing, Intel Comopser XE is used from command line, if there is no Visual Studio.

Kirill
