Dragon nuance engine voice for Intel Realsense

Hi

I am using the Intel Realsense sdk and creating a game in the Unity3d engine.

I want to be able to distribute the game to other users to install on their PC but I think they need the Dragon nuance engine voice installed?

Is this correct and is it something I can download.

Thanks

Michael

Thanks David

Two questions please.

1. Where can I get  Dragon nuance engine voice

2. Can I distribute it to allow others to distribute my game?

Thanks for your help in this

Best wishes

Michael

@David,

That makes for an interesting point.  Is an end user therefore better off buying the $99 USD external camera and the SDK rather than buying the retail version of the Dragon speech recognition engine because the SDK comes with a working version of the Nuance speech recognition engine?

The developer cannot redistribute Nuance runtime. All the computers with integrated Intel RealSense 3D camera will preload Nuance speech recognition engine. The end user can buy computer with integrated Intel RealSense 3D camera or Nuance SDK to run the apps based on Intel RealSense SDK speech MW. Thanks!

Thanks David

We have Nuance Dragon NaturallySpeaking Premium 13  installed on a Windows 8.1 pc but the Unity game doesnt work.

I was told to do this.

Copy the release folder.exe should be enough. Check dll”

But I am not sure exactly what it means. Is there any more detail on this?

Best wishes

Michael

Hello David,

"All the computers with integrated Intel RealSense 3D camera will preload Nuance speech recognition engine."

I need to be absolutely certain here so pardon me for asking these questions:

1) Does that mean that if the user has, for example, Dragon Naturally Speaking 12 on their computer the RealSense SDK will definitely find it and use it?

2) If instead, we take the Nuance SDK route, does that mean we could add their runtimes to the overall installer?  If so, how do we tell the RealSense SDK where the Nuance DLLs are (where we installed them)?

Thanks.
