Apologies for asking again, but I'm helping another programmer to debug a performance problem and can't seem to get PROFILER enabled in the IDE. The last time I encountered this, it was because the profiler option had not been installed; this time, we reinstalled and still BUILD|PROFILE is disabled.
I checked the directories and found PREP, PROFILE, PLIST and the sample batch files, but the IDE must not know about them. They run fine from the command line and we can use that approach, but I'd really rather be able to make them accessible from the Visual Studio environment.
Any and all suggestions are welcome (except to upgrade - end of FY and mgt is squeezing the greenbacks until they scream!)
Thanks
