Error A License for Comp-FW is not Available

I installed Intel Fortran compiler 2016 several weeks ago and today projects that worked fine last week produce the following errors when compiled:

Error        Error A license for Comp-FW is not available (-9,57).        

Error        error #10052: could not checkout FLEXlm license        ifort        

 

I checked the Intel Software manager and my licenses are valid.
