We just upgraded on a Mac to the latest version and now we are getting this error when trying to sync or build an app:

This is a known issue, described in the release notes: https://software.intel.com/en-us/xdk/docs/release-notes-information-intel-xdk, unfortunately, it does not clearly describe how to fix it...
First, try exiting the XDK and restarting it. If that doesn't work, see this FAQ for some info on how to clean up and reinstall: https://software.intel.com/en-us/xdk/faqs/general#uninstall-xdk
