Dear friends,
I downloaded the composer xe suite (linux version, x86-64) after submitting the registration form but no license key was sent to me. Can you please email me the evaluation license?
And possibly also provide more uptodate instructions to actually get that automatically without futher steps.
Many thanks in advance,
Marco

Marco,
For evaulation licenses no license files are sent nor serial numbers provided. Evals need to be installed with installation option 'Evaluate this product' which installs a 30-days runtime key on the evaluation system.
License files can be provided by Intel support only if a user encounters the 'Failed to enable trusted storage' error under 64-bit envioronments as described here: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/evaluation-license-error-10310-failed-to-enable-trusted-storage-check-for-licensing
Does this help?
Regards, Hubert.

Hi Macro, Hi Hubert,
I have the same problem as Macro.
Do you know how to ask an Intel engineer to send an evaluation license. I went to the Startup Support User Forum, as explained in https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/evaluation-license-error-10310-failed-to-enable-trusted-storage-check-for-licensing, created an account but haven't seen how to send them an e-mail to solve the problem.
Thanks
Regards

Dear Hubert,
thank for the reply but this helps me no further. My linux distribution (arch) is not supported by the installer, so I had to "manually" install the compiler the arch/aur way, and ended up not being able to follow the steps you refer to.
EDIT: the installer somehow works though. I was able to evaluate things - and then I discovered my department has indeed a valid floating license. So I guess case is closed. Lots can be done however to improve linux experience for this product, I maintain that point!

Marco,
You can register any floating serial number that is registered under the same email domain as your email address and get Intel® Premier Support at https://premier.intel.com. If you need help for registration, let me know, but please respnd via "Send Author A Message" only if you need to share confidential information (email, serial number etc.).
Regards, Hubert.
