Finding tech support for developing hardware

Hi there

I am quite impressive of the strong function of realsense tech and I would like to build one hardware combine intel camera with moble based CPU/GPU storage, wifi. So here are my questions:

- I would like to use F200 as front-facing usage scene but may need Andriod OS system. Is that possible to have the Andriod OS system support F200?

- Is that possible to have other type of CPU like samsung Exynos 7420 to support the camera?

-What kind of support for small business can get in designing the hardware and supply of the chips from Intel in China?

Many thanks!

The main issue would be finding a host with USB3.0.

The F200 should work with many CPUs as long as you are only retrieving the raw data from it.

If you need full support of the SDK, I recommend you to use one of Intel NUCs. They are really nice and small, and have full support.

If you just need raw access to the camera, you will only need a USB3. This means that you may use a tablet like the Asus T100, (which I tested, and it works for raw access), or experiment with more embedded solutions like the Minnowboard Max, or an Odroid XU4, since both of them have USB3.0 (haven't tested them yet), or maybe even on a smartphone with USB3.

Now, in terms of Android support, it seems that they are working on it, but it feels more geared towards the R200 instead of the F200 (Project Tango integration).

Great appreciation! I will try the NUC for demos. Keep in touch!
