Full license vs. Renewal

I'd like to purchase an academic license for Intel Fortran Composer. On this webpage:

http://softwarestore.ispfulfillment.com/store/Product.aspx?skupart=I23S86

there are three different types of single academic licenses, which are Renewal Post- Expiry ($299), Pre- Expiry($199) and Single Academic ($399). I think the last one is a full license. My question is, what's the difference between a full license and a renewal license? Is it that a full license is for a one-time purchase, and you can use it forever, while a renewal license must be repurchased on an annual basis?

Thanks.

Hi Rui,

After purchasing a $399 license, you will be able to download & install Fortran Composer XE.  And it comes with one-year support.  You can download/install any product updates built before your support expiration date.  You can use the product updates which you are eligible to download/install, for ever.

Support Renewal extends your support for one year from the expiration date of your current support agreement.

Hope this answers your question.

Thank you.
