I just picked up a new vaio laptop (VGN-CR123E/B) and had the intentions of hooking it up via the VGA cable to my samsung 720p high def tv....but to my surprise there is not an option in the settings for 1280x720 output. The closest I can get is 1280x768 which will not fit my TV properly. You can see the specs shown on the BB website shown here... http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8504148&type=product&id=1186004963979
Does anyone know if there is a solution to this, i.e. driver updates or workarounds to enable the picture to display properly on my HD t.v?
(mobile Intel Express 965 Chipset Family, Mobile Intel GMA X3100 Accelerator)
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated...thanks!
